Our core program in which we introduce a technique of plein air painting which combine lectures, exercises and demonstrations that aim to teach students to compose, develop and complete a painting quickly.

Elements of Landscape

Inspired by the theories of 18the century painter P. H. Valenciennes, the class focuses in the individual “Elements” of the landscape: trees, water, clouds and skies, etc, as well as the effect of light on from at different times of day.
